Campus · USA · full desk
College is not a footnote.
Football Saturdays. Men’s and women’s basketball. Baseball and softball in the spring. Hockey in the winter. Soccer and lacrosse when the campus calendar says so. Sports Authority treats American college sport as a beat with its own door — not a paragraph buried under the pros.
College football
Saturdays are a second league — and they get a full page of oxygen.
Roster turnover, conference travel, portal talent, playoff math that still shares a month with finals. We price the game in front of us. Wordmarks only — no official conference shields.
Desk seat: Lane Carver, CFB. Also on Football. Editorial character.
College basketball · men & women
March is a month. November is a tell. Both genders stay on the sheet.
The public poetry is reserved for three weeks in spring. The desk lives in the other six months — early-season efficiency, conference travel, women’s brackets the national conversation still treats as optional. Optional is not a house word.
Desk seat: Sister June Halley, CBB. Also on Basketball. Editorial character.
The rest of campus
Baseball, softball, hockey, soccer, lacrosse — where the calendar is natural.
These are not “also ran” tabs. They are American college products with conferences, postseasons, and fans who already know the score. Sample boards below are demonstration data only.
College baseball
SEC Saturdays, Omaha dreams, midweek midweek midweek. Starting pitching is a short story; the bullpen is still the last chapter.
College softball
Oklahoma, UCLA, the WCWS atmosphere. Women’s diamond sport with a closing line and a national audience that already showed up.
College hockey
Frozen Four math. Big Ten and Hockey East winters. Goaltending is a market on campus the same way it is in the NHL.
College soccer
Men’s and women’s. Fall brackets, spring friendlies, the same True Price vocabulary we hang on MLS and NWSL nights.
College lacrosse
Maryland, Virginia, the Eastern corridor and the expanding map. Fast score, clean reason-to-exist, no souvenir-shop voice.
More when natural
Track, volleyball, wrestling, swimming — campus sports that matter to the country get a sentence and a sample when the calendar asks.
All scores on this page are invented demonstration data for design and information architecture. They are not results of actual games. No official NCAA or conference logos.
A USA sports house that starts at the professional gate has already missed the country. College is the country’s other cathedral.
Brand gravity is not a spread
Helmets sell tickets. Snaps sell numbers. We hang the snaps.
Women’s March is not optional inventory
If your campus desk “discovers” the women’s tournament every March, you are late eleven months a year.
